Twirling round with this familiar parable.
Spinning, weaving round each new experience.
Recognize this as a holy gift and celebrate this chance to be alive and breathing.
This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.
Embrace this moment. Remember. We are eternal.
All this pain is an illusion.

I'd heard the moon and about the 30 engineered humans. Everyone knows theres a million things in cows that will kill you. Avoid your death, I'll welcome mine with a glass of wine and strip steak from new york. The HIV test fact was just fucking disturbing.

Ah, I'd wondered before when it became more common to use the term 'living room' rather than parlor, or if there was a specific difference. I am a fan of the macabre and this certainly fits that.

I've been reading a lot about the platypus lately, seems like since the genetic code was cracked many pages have done articles about it. They're all a little different, each leaving something out. This was a fair bit different from BBC's version or Reuter.
From the page: "hen the first platypus specimens were brought to England from Australia in the 18th century, Wilson says, "most of the naturalists who looked at them thought they were some kind of fake." People suspected that a taxidermist had gotten creative "and sewn the bill of a duck on some sort of beaver-like creature and added webbed feet for grins," he says. "
